PRAYER TIMINGS
EID PRAYER
Eid Prayer will be at 7:30am on Wednesday April 10 in sha Allah. Takbeerat will begin at 7:00am. Eid Mubarak and may Allah accept all of our fasting and prayer.
Important notice
Please take notice that AlQalam Center holding *SALAT* on Fridays
starting at *13:30*
Additionally, Alqalam's *space occupancy is limited to 50*. The doors will automatically be locked once this number is reached.

Services
Alhamdulillah, Alqalam Islamic Center offers the following services to meet the major needs of our Muslim Community:
REGULAR ARABIC, QURAN AND HADITH CLASSES FOR YOUTH & ADULTS
DAILY PRAYERS, JUMUA AND EID PRAYERS
The center is equipped with separate prayer spaces to accomodate both brothers and sisters.
RELIGIOUS CONFERENCES
Alqalam Center occasionally invites well-known scholars to share their wisdom with our community.
RAMADAN PROGRAMS
During Ramadan, the center organizes Taraweeh prayers, various lectures with local and international scholars, as well as special Iftar programs
YOUTH COMPETIONS
Alqalam center has been organizing youth competitions since April 2011. We have hosted a Quran Challenge Game as well as a competitive questionnaire about basic Aqidah, Fiqh and Adab. Awards were given to all participants based on orders of merit.
SPECIAL OCCASIONS
The center provides a designated area to celebrate Aqiqah, Sadaka and other events.
FUNERAL SERVICES
Funeral services are presently outsourced, as we do not have the appropriate facilities.

Evening Classes for Kids
Looking to help your child reconnect with the masjid, build key foundations, and revive the spirit of Islamic learning?

Hadith Reminders
Join us throughout the week for brief, well-needed, practical reminders based on the Qur’an and Sunnah.
Our Full-time Imam
Shaykh Aamir was officially appointed as our full-time Imam as of April 2020. We are pleased to have him with us.
Our Facilities
By the grace of Allah, our center comfortably accommodates both brothers and sisters respectively for all five daily prayers and other important religious services.

Whilst enjoying the summer months, it is important to always be aware of when and where to pray as you go about your day.
Gradual Website Development
We are currently developing our website to keep our community up-to-date. Please pray for its successful completion – the work is very slowly but steadily in-progress!
Instructions
Please note that the adhān is typically called 10-15 minutes prior to each prayer.
If the center has reached maximum capacity, please come back at a later time.
Please be considerate – DO NOT tap on the window and disturb those who have already started praying. If you notice that the limit has already been reached, please exit the building until a space opens up.
We are striving our utmost to accommodate everyone to the best of our ability, whilst ensuring to uphold the law and maintain proper safety.

*Presently, the center is open from 1:30pm until shortly after Isha prayers are finished.
*Prayer time changes are typically announced on Sundays, to be implemented on Mondays.
