Al Qalam Islamic Community Center
Alhamdulillah, Alqalam Islamic Center offers the following services to meet the major needs of our Muslim Community:
REGULAR ARABIC, QURAN AND HADITH CLASSES FOR YOUTH & ADULTS
Alqalam center has been organizing youth competitions since April 2011. We have hosted a Quran Challenge Game as well as a competitive questionnaire about basic Aqidah, Fiqh and Adab. Awards were given to all participants based on orders of merit.
رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً
وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ
Our Lord! Grant us goodness in this world and goodness in the Hereafter, and save us from the chastisement of the Hellfire [2:201]

Join us throughout the week for brief, well-needed, practical reminders based on the Qur’an and Sunnah.
Our Full-time Imam
Shaykh Aamir was officially appointed as our full-time Imam as of April 2020. We are pleased to have him with us.
By the grace of Allah, our center comfortably accommodates both brothers and sisters respectively for all five daily prayers and other important religious services.
Prayer Timings - App
Looking for a fast and easy way to keep up-to-date with our center’s prayer times? Download the MyMasjid app, and have access to iqama times directly on your phone.
Whilst enjoying the summer months, it is important to always be aware of when and where to pray as you go about your day.
Gradual Website Development
We are currently developing our website to keep our community up-to-date. Please pray for its successful completion – the work is very slowly but steadily in-progress!
Please note that the adhān is typically called 10-15 minutes prior to each prayer.
If the center has reached maximum capacity, please come back at a later time.
Please be considerate – DO NOT tap on the window and disturb those who have already started praying. If you notice that the limit has already been reached, please exit the building until a space opens up.
We are striving our utmost to accommodate everyone to the best of our ability, whilst ensuring to uphold the law and maintain proper safety.
May Allah reward you for your understanding.
*Presently, the center is open from 1:30pm until shortly after Isha prayers are finished.
*Prayer time changes are typically announced on Sundays, to be implemented on Mondays.
